A generator is a device that converts mechanical energy into electrical power. Many generators come with a gauge panel that displays important operating parameters like oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and engine rotation speed. Constant measurement and monitoring of these variables enables the generator to shut down when critical values are crossed, which improves safety and efficiency.
