The nursery is located in the beautiful and unspoilt Galloway countryside some three miles from Kirkcudbright. The area is a paradise for enthusiastic gardeners with many specialist nurseries and some of the finest gardens in the country including Logan, Threave, Castle Kennedy, Glenwhan and many more. As an area for holidaymakers Galloway remains a well kept secret. It is one of the most beautiful and scenic areas of Britain and yet you can walk for miles without meeting another soul or find a secluded beach and have it all to yourself.

If you plan a visit to the area we would be pleased to see you at the nursery. Our opening times are:-

1st March - 1st November. 10am -5pm Thursday to Sunday and Bank Holidays.

At the nursery you will find many hundreds of scarce and unusual plants that are only ever available in small numbers and never get into the main catalogue.

How to find us The nursery is three miles from Kirkcudbright on the B727 (past the Wildlife Park). Turn right at the sign for Whinnieliggate and we are 100m on the left.	View a more Detailed Map
